This book is mainly about how children be so happy to see another day. This is a great book for all ages to read. I really like this book, the kids all gets along very well, and they be happy to see each other when they be with each others. Thats what this book is mainly about, kids getting along.
“Mother To Son” By: Langston Hughes
Langston Hughes was born in 1902 and died in the year of 1967. He is the poet laureate of the African-American experience – a popular writer of the Harlem Renaissance who gave hopeful expression to the aspirations of the opressed, even as he decried racism and injustice. From what I have read from Langston Hughes biography it has not made a difference to me yet because I haven’t never just held a face to face conversation with him so therefore I don’t knonw nothing really about him.
The name of the book that I read about is “Guy Wire” and it is written by “Sarah Weeks” and “The Regular Guy”. This book is about a boy named Guy Wire. Guy is a funny, well I’ll say hilarious person, he is what most people call a “class clown”. He is very funny and easy to get along with.
Well first of all I memorize my poems by reciting them several times, and once I memorize the words I just study them a few times without the word, then I recite my poem to someone else and thats how I memorize my poem.
What is the best community you have ever been a part of? Think of many different types of communities – schools, churches/mosques/synagogues, families, neighborhoods, or any other kinds of group.
What made this community so good?
Well I’ve only been up for a while and I live in the Phillips Community. So far this community is a very great community and I love to be apart of it. They have so much interesting things going on the Phillips Community. I think this neighborhood is fun because it keeps the younger citizen minds more occupied on the right stuff.
I am still working on planning our English topics for the rest of the year. I’d like to know what you’re interested in spending time on. What would you like to see us do? Suggest themes, books, writing projects, poems, movies, or anything else you think would make our English class fun for you.
I Jamarius Taylor interesting for this year is to have a fun and blessed day with my fellow classmates. I would love to see my classmates have fun with one another and abide by all the classroom rules and the school policy. I would also love to do many things with my classmates such as: projects, and many other things that is appropriate while at school.
Where were you on Sept. 11, 2001, and what were you doing when you found out about the World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks? What do you remember from that day or the days following? Were you or anyone you know affected by the attacks?
On September 11, 2001, I Jamarius Taylor was official at school to be exact. Perhaps when I found out about the situation that had took place it was plenty of broken hearts, because of the fact they thought about their families that were no where around and they also thought about where they were and were they could have been. Many peoples lives where taken away, and many peoples lives were broken.

To start off with I, Jamarius Taylor disagree on that subject I do not believe that thats the most important thing that young people can do today. I belive that getting an education is the most important thing that young people can do today. I believe that getting an education is the best thing that can ever happen to kids today.
What have you learned during the past three weeks about your learning community (the school and this class) and how it works? Did anything surprise you?
No, I don’t think anything surprise me but to be exact, I really like this class. My teachers is great and my fellow classmates are okay to. Its really not nothing that I learned that surprised me because everything that we are learning I been knew how to do it. But in my class I am learning how to type that is, because my typing was very poorly.
If I was Dr. Spiral I would make arrangements for all students to attend school on fridays. I would make that a must, because I feel that since public schools does it, it should be fair that Augsburg students should be allowed to go to schools on fridays no matter what time they get out.
